Kimjang (Kimchi making) event in Budapest, Hungary

Yes, this is finally the season when Koreans make a bountiful amount of kimchi. And this custom is called 김장 Kimjang, referring to the traditional process of preparation & preservation of kimchi before the cold winter.

We have organized a Kimjang event with international diplomats (and their family members) at Korean Cultural Center in Budapest, Hungary. Taeyeon started the morning with a short presentation about kimchi & kimjang, then everyone got together in action for making kimchi altogether. It was a fun-filled weekend activity for participants in all ages.
